Thorpe Park - Green Office
The Green Office project is now well under way with the erection of the precast concrete frame and hollow core floors to the East Wing of the building. These concrete elements form the backbone to the naturally ventilated termodeck system and embedded energy utilization being implemented in the building design.
Having spent over three months modeling the building for optimum environmental performance to enable the finalizing of the critical design elements, work commenced at the start of the year on the Mirus project managed Green Office project at Thorpe Park.
The building being undertaken for Innovate Property Ltd at Thorpe Park in Leeds is due for completion in January 2007 and when finished will offer 45,000ft2 of sustainable office space. This landmark building is being developed in conjunction with Yorkshire Forward and is at the forefront of sustainable technology.
